Description: The Two Station Open Arbor is low cost build-your-own Grinder/Polisher. This unit is designed to accept 6", 8" and 10" wheels. Each side of the shaft is thread with 1"-14 right and left thread providing space to accept threade heads or cones. This is an excellent choice for the person who wants to design a machine based around their own specific needs. The 1" x 23-3/4" shaft is turned, ground and polished to reduce vibration. An optional 2" riser shim is available with this arbor to provide more work room for larger wheels. Pending wheel choices, this unit will grind, carve, buff and polish work pieces.Please not that this unit does not come with wheels or motor.
